F Family Newborn Session | Columbus Newborn Photographer

Columbus Newborn Photographer

This was an extra special session for me to do. Beckett’s mama, Katie, was my son Landon’s preschool teacher 2 years ago. I also have known her my whole life. Our moms have been friends for ages and our dads used to play rugby together back in the day. In fact, Katie’s mom introduced my parents to each other! How cool is that? Katie is an amazing special needs teacher and played a big role in our lives as we started our journey navigating the special needs world. She was Landon’s advocate and helped us be his advocate in ways we never knew. You could just tell how much she loves the children she works with, including Landon. I will forever be grateful for all that she has done for him. She is amazing.

So, when Katie announced she was pregnant with Mr. Beckett, I knew I needed to photograph her baby. Boy, is he a cutie-pie! The poor bubs broke his collar bone during delivery, so we were a little limited on the poses I could do with him. But we still got some amazing images from his session. This session was also pretty special because he was the first newborn for me to photograph in my new studio space! I was so excited to use my new barn wood I have working hard on prepping. It turned out amazing and I’m really looking forward to using this space. My sister-in-law came over during his session and took some behind the scenes pictures and videos, which I’m looking forward to putting together a little project with. Come check out sweet little Beckett’s session!
