B Family Newborn Session | Columbus Newborn Photographer

The B family has a special tradition of ‘board meetings’. Jennifer and Eric have meet together on their pool’s diving board for some big life moments. It’s where Eric proposed to Jennifer, and it’s where Jennifer told Eric she was pregnant. So oh course we needed to document little Madison’s first board meeting with her parents during her newborn session.

Eric is also a hardcore Columbus Blue Jackets fan. A family member made Madison her first pair of skates for her session. They are ADORABLE and she’ll be on the ice in no time! Come check them out!

B Family Hospital Session | Columbus Birth Photographer

The B family welcomed baby Madison! I was supposed to be there for her birth, but unfortunately her mamma ended up needing a C-section in order for Madison to arrive her safely. Her parents are glad she is here! I went to visit her when she was 3 days old in the hospital and was able to capture some sweet moments as her parents get to know their new little cutie-pie. I did their maternity session and you can check those pictures out here!

V Family Birth Session | Columbus Birth Photographer

I was able to photograph my first birth session for my dear friend Jenna. I can’t even begin to explain how amazing it was to be in the room as Jenna and her husband Bill welcome their second daughter, Avery, to this world. I was able to document her actual entrance (those are saved for just mom and dad) but more importantly I was able to give Jenna and Bill the chance to soak up all the wonderful emotions of meeting their child for the first time, and freeze those moments in the form of pictures. They will be able to look back and see just how happy they were that day, and Avery will be able to as well! How cool is that?!

B Family Maternity Session | Columbus Maternity Photographer

Jennifer and Erik were so much fun during their maternity session. They laughed and giggled with each other the entire time. Their energy together is amazing. They are so excited to become parents and I can’t wait to help them document their experience. For their session we met in downtown Hilliard at the historic village and took advantage of the cool old buildings. Their ‘Wee-One’ is due in a few short weeks and it’s gender and name is a surprise! Baby B is definitely joining a family that will welcome him/her into a warm and happy family filled with smiles and laughter!
