The C Family are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their baby girl! They have so much love to give their sweet daughter and I know they will be amazing parents. I was so excited to help document the end of Jenessa’s pregnancy. She is so beautiful!

Baby Rylan (LOVE his name!!) was so cute for his session. How could he not be? Despite the yucky weather we were able to capture some beautiful images of him as a sweet little newborn. Here are a few of the photos from baby Claire’s newborn session. My mom and I worked feverishly the night before her session making some new headbands to use. I was so excited when her Mamma picked the new ones we had made. Claire looked so sweet in them. She was so incredibly adorable and I look forward to working with her awesome family again for her 6 month and 1 year sessions! I can’t wait to see how she’s grown.

I had tons and tons of fun for the R Family’s session. The former preschool teacher in me was right at home with this young family. This session was such a good reminder of how important it is to go with the flow with young children. Brooke was really worried about how her boys would behave during their session, but they were amazing! I just played and had fun with them, as well as encouraged Brooke and Mike to play with them too while I documented their giggles. Sometimes it’s harder than others to get kids comfortable but, following their lead instead can result in fun times filled with laughter.

Baby Kaylyn has a pretty crazy birth story. Her mommy went into labor 4 weeks early and while she was on her way to her baby shower out of town! While her entrance to the world was a dramatic one, she was a complete dream for her newborn session. Hopefully she’ll continue to be an awesome sleeper for her parents.
